What is Face Biometric Access?
Face Biometric Access enables authorized users to enter approved locations using facial recognition technology instead of a QR code or RFID credential.
How do I register for Face Biometric Access?
1. Open the ADDA App.
2. Navigate to SmartPass → Biometric Registration.
3. Follow the on-screen instructions.
4. Provide your consent for biometric data processing.
5. Complete the registration process.
Do I need to visit the community office for registration?
No. Face Biometric Access registration can be completed entirely through the ADDA App.
Does registering for Face Biometric Access automatically grant access to all locations?
No. Registration only enables facial recognition as an access method. Access to gates, common areas, and other locations continues to be governed by the permissions assigned by the community administrator.
Why is my consent required?
Biometric data is considered personal information. Your consent is required before your facial biometric data can be collected, processed, and used for access verification.
Can I withdraw my consent later?
Yes. You may withdraw your consent at any time.
To withdraw consent:
ADDA App → More → Consent Manager → Uncheck "Consent for Collection and Processing of Personal Data – Biometric Data" → Update
What happens if I withdraw my consent?
If you withdraw consent:
1. Your biometric data will be deleted within 3 days of submitting the request.
2. Face Biometric Access will be disabled.
3. Other access methods, such as QR Access or RFID Access, may continue to function if available.
Can I update my Face Biometric Access registration?
Yes. You can re-register your biometric data whenever necessary, especially if there has been a significant change in your appearance.
Why is my face not being recognized?
Possible reasons include:
1. Registration is incomplete or pending approval.
2. Lighting conditions are insufficient.
3. Your face is partially covered or not clearly visible.
4. The access device is temporarily unavailable.
