What is the Gift Pass feature in ADDA, and how does it work?

The Gift Pass feature in the ADDA app allows residents to digitally declare items they are handing over to their domestic staff (such as maids, cooks, or drivers). This helps ensure a smooth and transparent checkout process at the security gate, eliminating the need for verbal confirmation from residents.

Residents can enter gift details—including a description, photo, and additional notes—directly in the ADDA app. These details are automatically synced with the ADDA GateKeeper app used by the security team.

When the staff member checks out, the security guard can view the declared gift items linked to that individual. This promotes transparency, reduces misunderstandings, and keeps a secure digital record of items being taken out of the premises.

Steps to Add a Gift Pass:

Step 1: Open the ADDA App → Go to “My Unit” → Tap on the “Helpers” tab.
Step 2: Select the helper → Tap on “Gift Pass”.
Step 3: Enter gift details → Add a description, optional photo, and any relevant notes.
Step 4: Submit the pass → It will be available to the security team at the time of the helper’s exit.
