How can I enable Utility billing with automatic invoice and interest calculation in ADDA?
Step 1: Enable Utility Tracker
To enable the Utility Tracker module, raise a support ticket to support@adda.io.
Once enabled, the Utility Tracker module will appear in the Admin portal, and a new rule type called Utility will be available automatically.
Step 2: Configure Utility billing rules
Go to ADDA Admin → Income Tracker
Select Rule Type: Utility
Click Add Line Item
Choose the required Income Head
Enter the rate based on the billing type:
Sqft 1 → Enter the amount under Sqft 1
Sqft 2 → Enter the amount under Sqft 2
Fixed Amount → Enter the value under Unit Rate
Enable Interest Applicable if late payment interest is required
Click Save
After this setup, utility invoices will be generated automatically, and interest will be calculated automatically for delayed payments.
Note:Utility Tracker must be enabled by ADDA Support before configuration
