Why doesn't the ADDA app display OTP or QR codes when pre-approving Cabs and Deliveries?
In the ADDA app, for pre-approved visitors, we offer the option to share the expected visitor code along with a QR code.
However, this functionality is not available for the Cab and Delivery categories. This is because, in these cases, residents are booking the service with a company rather than an individual. Typically, residents would not know who (the driver or delivery person) will be providing the service, as they have booked it through the company. Consequently, the resident wouldn't have the necessary information such as the Cab Driver/ delivery boy's name or phone number to to share an OTP or QR code with the specific service provider.
However, the resident can just enter the cab vehicle number ( last 4 digits) which would be considered the pre-approved code during the visitor entry process.
