Why doesn’t ADDA support subfolders within the Admin Files section?

Why doesn’t ADDA support subfolders within the Admin Files section?

Currently, ADDA Admin Files allow only a single-level folder structure. Subfolder creation is not available in this section at the moment.

Why Subfolders Are Not Supported
  1. The Admin Files feature is designed to keep document access simple and easy for all users.
  2. Single-level folders reduce confusion and make files easier to locate.
  3. Complex folder hierarchies can lead to the misplacement of documents.
  4. Most communities prefer faster access with fewer navigation steps.
  5. This structure ensures consistent usage across all communities.

Alternate Solution
  1. Use external document management tools such as Google Drive, OneDrive, or similar platforms for detailed folder organization.
  2. Maintain year-wise or category-wise subfolders externally.
  3. Upload only finalized or frequently used documents into ADDA.
  4. Rename files clearly while uploading for better identification.

What This Means for You
  1. ADDA serves as a central reference point for community documents.
  2. Detailed document structuring can be managed using external tools.
  3. This approach keeps document access clear, fast, and manageable for all users.
