What is a Maker-Checker Functionality?

Objective of this feature:

The Maker and Checker functionality in accounting is a control mechanism to enhance accuracy, prevent errors, and maintain the integrity of financial data. This two-step verification process involves two individuals or roles: the "Maker" and the "Checker." The objective of this system is to ensure that financial transactions and accounting entries are accurately recorded and that errors or fraud are minimized.

Here's how it works and what it aims to achieve:

1. How to enable the “Maker Checker functionality”?

Login to ADDA Admin >> Configure ADDA >> Accounting >> Maker Checker >> Enable Maker Checker and Save.


How do we assign makers and checkers?
Login to ADDA Admin >> Configure ADDA >> Accounting >> Maker Checker >> Switch the radio buttons against the names admins >> Move to radio buttons under “Maker” for the makers and move the radio buttons under “Checker” for the checkers >> scroll down and save.



Please Note - These settings can be done only by the moderator of the ADDA.
