How to Transfer Ownership in ADDA?

If you need to transfer ownership of a unit in ADDA, follow these steps:  

Step 1: Rename the Old Unit

1. Log in to the ADDA Portal and go to Admin.  
2. Navigate to Income Tracker >> Track Units.  
3. Find the unit that needs ownership transfer and click "Rename."  
4. Change the unit name to "Unit No_DDMMYYYY" (e.g., Unit 101_19032025).  

Step 2: Deactivate the Old Unit
  
1. In Track Units, switch the radio button to "Deactivate."
2. Scroll down and click "Save Changes."  

Step 3: Create a New Unit and Update Sq.ft
  
1. In Track Units, scroll to the bottom and click "Add Missing Unit."  
2. Enter the new unit number and click "Add Unit."  
3. Update the Sq.ft for the new unit.  

Step 4: Assign the New Owner and Update Billing Name  

1. Go to Units & Users and add the new owner.  
2. Navigate to Income Tracker >> Member Income and update the "Bill to Party Name" accordingly.
