How to Enable or Disable Silent Approval in ADDA app?

You can easily enable or disable Silent Approval for different visitor types, such as Deliveries, Cabs, Home Services, and Guests.

To Enable Silent Approval:
  1. Open the ADDA Application.

  2. Go to Home → Gate Updates → Silent Approval (icon)
    or
    My Unit → Gate Updates → Visitors → Silent Approval.

  3. You will see visitor categories — Delivery, Cabs, Home Services, and Guests.

  4. Tap on the category (for example, Delivery).

  5. Choose one of the options:

    • Silent approval for all Deliveries – You will not receive approval notification; only informational notifications.

    • Silent approval for selected companies – You can select specific vendors (for example, enable for Zomato, disable for Swiggy).

  6. The changes will be saved automatically.

To Disable Silent Approval:

  1. Follow the same steps as above to open the Silent Approval screen.

  2. Tap on the category you want to update.

  3. Turn off the Silent Approval option (either for all or for selected vendors).

  4. Once disabled, you will start receiving approval requests again for those visits.

Example:
If you disable Silent Approval for Cabs, you will start getting approval requests each time a cab driver arrives at your community gate.
