1. Does ADDA GateKeeper provide an Attendance Management System?
No, it records staff check-in and check-out activities and provides reports based on these records. It is not designed to function as a complete attendance management system.
2. Why does ADDA show "Present" and "Absent" if it is not an Attendance Management System?
The Present and Absent status is generated based on the staff's check-in activity for that day.
- Present: The staff member has at least one valid check-in recorded for the day.
- Absent: No check-in has been recorded for the day.
This status is provided as a quick operational reference to help communities monitor staff movement. It should not be considered an official HR attendance record.
3. Can communities use ADDA reports for attendance tracking?
Yes. Communities can refer to the check-in/check-out reports and the daily Present/Absent status to monitor staff movement within the premises.
However, these reports are intended for operational purposes only and should not be used as a complete attendance or payroll management solution.
4. What should I use if I need a complete Attendance Management System?
If your community requires features such as shift scheduling, leave management, attendance regularization, overtime calculations, or payroll integration, you should use a dedicated Attendance Management or HRMS solution.
ADDA GateKeeper can complement these systems by providing accurate staff entry and exit records.
Note
The Present/Absent status in ADDA is an operational indicator based solely on staff check-in records. It helps communities quickly identify whether a staff member has reported to the premises on a given day. It should not be interpreted as a complete attendance management or HR solution.
