In many communities, amenities such as clubhouses, sports courts, and swimming pools have limited availability. These facilities are primarily intended for residents who are actively living in the community.
ADDA provides a setting that allows communities to restrict amenity bookings based on unit occupancy. This helps ensure that amenities are accessible only to users who are currently living in the community.
How does this work?
When this setting is enabled:
- If a unit has an active tenant, amenity booking access is available only to the tenant.
- Tenants living in the unit can continue to book amenities as usual.
- Owners can book amenities only if the unit is self-occupied or vacant.
- The rule is applied automatically across the ADDA Resident App and Resident Portal.
Where can Admins enable or disable this setting?
Step 1: Log in to ADDA
Step 2: Go to Amenity and Events
Step 3: Click on Setup
Step 4: Open Defaulter Restrictions
Step 5: Find the option Restrict owner from reserving amenity when unit has active tenant
Step 6: Use the toggle to enable or disable this option as needed
Enabled: Owners cannot book amenities if their unit has an active tenant.
Disabled: Owners can book amenities regardless of tenant status.
Note: This setting does not change any past or existing amenity bookings.
