Does ADDA control the opening or closing of boom barriers?
No.ADDA does not directly control the opening or closing of boom barriers.
Boom barrier operations are managed by the third-party hardware system installed at the gate. ADDA works only at the software integration level.
If the integration is set up correctly and the required boom barrier hardware is in place, registered vehicles can be automatically allowed entry or exit (barrier up/down) based on system validation. However, the actual physical operation of the barrier is always handled by the hardware system, not ADDA.
