The New ADDA Move-In Workflow

Move-In processes for Residential Communities often tend to become tedious, involving a lot of back and forth between Community Management teams and Owners/Tenants who are moving in.

ADDA brings to you a new and improved Move-In process, which is a nifty upgrade to the Move-In process we already had in ADDA.

There are 2 segments to this flow:

  1. The Admin Flow and
  2. The Owner/Tenant Flow.

On the Admin side, the Community Management team can set up Approvers and Workflows. They can also work on verifying the Owner/Tenants who have submitted the move-in form for approval.

Please follow the below steps to enable the move-in workflow and set up the Move in form and checklist:

  • Step 1: Go to Move In/Move out Tracker >> Setup >> Verifiers >> Click on the checkbox to enable the Move-in flow >> Save. On enabling the “Move In-flow”, a standard Move-In form becomes available to the Owners and Tenants who are moving in. 

  • Step 2: Set up the Approver level by marking the radio button against the user name in Level 1 or Level 2 approvers and click on Save changes.

  • Step 3: Move In checklist: Add the new checklist as per the requirement in Customise Move in the checklist and then enable the move-in checklist and click on Save changes.

  • Step 4: Customise Move-In forms: Admins can create custom fields here to help them capture any information that they may need from your Owners/Tenants who are moving in. It will be visible in Active user details inside Move In/Out information. And the residents will fill in these fields when they move in. To start customising the move-in form scroll down and add the Move-in form field >> Check the box to enable it for the Move-in form >> Select the category for the answers, i.e., text, date, single choice or multiple choice >> If it is single or multiple choice, add the option in the multiple choice column and the residents can select from the options >> Mark if it is for Owner, Tenant, or both Owner Tenant >> Save changes. Click on the view form after saving the form to check the Move in forms for the residents. Click on the view form after saving the form to check the Move in forms for the residents.

Residents' Move-in workflow:

The residents can join the community by the below steps:
  • Step 1: Download the ADDA app from the play store or app store.
  • Step 2: Click on Create Account>> Search the community’s name in the search bar >> Click on join >> Select Moving in or already living >> Next>> Click on the checkbox for agreeing to the guidelines >> Next.
  • Step 3: Select the status and unit no. from the drop-down list, and add the Nationality and Mobile no. >> Next >> Add the OTP >> Submit.

  • Step 4: Fill up the move-in form and add the required documents >> Click on Next >> preview the details which you have added >> submit. The move-in request will be sent to the admins for approval.

Verifying Move-ins from the Admin side:

The admins can verify the move-ins of the residents by following the below steps:
  • Step 1: Go to Move In/Move out Tracker >> Verify Move-ins >> The respective level on the approver will click on the view against the user’s name to check the resident’s details, Click Approve after verifying the user’s details.

  • Step 2: Go to Approved Move-ins >> Click on view against the resident’s name>> Check the Move-in checklist >> Fill in the customise Move-in fields if required >> Click on Create Account.

 Note: The residents will receive the temporary password on the registered email id, they can log in with the login credentials.
